Gymscore editorial methodology

This page explains who creates Gymscore content, how we choose recommendations, which facts we verify, and how we correct or update our work.

Who publishes our content

Gymscore Editorial Team is an organizational byline for the people who research, write, edit, and maintain this website. It is not a fictional person and it does not imply that every article was written or medically reviewed by a named clinician. Gymscore is published by HYPENSPACE d.o.o.

How we create exercise and fitness guides

  1. We start with the practical question a reader is trying to answer.
  2. We check current primary research, professional guidelines, and reliable reference material when a claim needs evidence.
  3. We turn that evidence into clear instructions, common mistakes, useful variations, and realistic programming guidance.
  4. We separate general education from individualized medical advice and add safety context where it is relevant.
  5. We review titles, summaries, links, and structured data before publication.

How we choose and compare apps

A “best” app is not automatically the best choice for every person. We evaluate the fit between a product and a specific use case, including training goal, experience level, platform availability, core features, ease of use, pricing, and meaningful limitations.

A best-for recommendation is a scoped verdict such as “best for beginners,” “best for workout logging,” or “best for form feedback.” Each verdict should state why the product fits that use case and the trade-off a reader should know before choosing it.

Product features, availability, and prices are checked against official product pages and app-store listings. Hands-on testing is stated only when it actually occurred. We do not present every linked product as personally tested.

Our commercial interest

Gymscore is our own product, so comparisons that include it have an inherent commercial interest. We disclose that relationship here and aim to apply the same use-case criteria to Gymscore and competing products. Placement is not proof that one app is universally better.

Updates, pricing, and corrections

Comparison pages include an update history. We change the visible review date and structured data only after a meaningful editorial review. Prices and product features can change after publication, so readers should confirm purchase details with the provider.

If you find a factual error, outdated price, or missing disclosure, contact us through the Gymscore contact page. We review correction requests and update the affected page when the evidence supports a change.

Health information

Our fitness content is educational and is not medical diagnosis or treatment. Stop an exercise that causes sharp or worsening pain and seek advice from a qualified health or exercise professional when symptoms, injuries, or medical conditions affect training.
